The Fountains at Waterway Square is one of the major attractions along The Woodlands Waterway. Visitors often pose in front of the fountain as the remarkable water and light show perform behind them. Entrance to this area is completely free and there are many parking options available nearby. Waterway Square is next to The Westin at The Woodlands and just a short walk from The Woodlands Waterway Marriott.

STATS

The long water wall is 120 feet long, with a 10 foot tall, nearly vertical wall that pours down into the pool below. Water also cascades down seven terraced levels on either side of the fountain! On the right side of the fountain, visitors will notice a bowl-shaped ellipse, known as the upper fountain, it contains burst jets that can allow water to reach up to 50 feet high, or 4-5 stories!

SOUNDS

The massive water feature provides the relaxing noise of its many waterfalls. But that's not all! The Fountains at Waterway Square are programmed to perform several family-friendly musical selections. Selected songs will play at random according to the scheduled showtimes. The 20 speakers located around Waterway Square are plenty loud enough to play the music over the sound of the falling water.

SONGS

Songs played and synchronized on the fountain vary by the time of year. Songs on the rotation include top musical hits through the decades, patriotic tunes, seasonal music during the holidays, and much more! In total, the fountain has been programmed to play 48 songs with the water fountain changing light colors and jet streams of water shooting high into the air.

February Song Schedule

  • Louie, Louie
