To help you safely explore our beautiful destination, we've compiled a list of our recommendations in our Safe Travel Guide below.

EXPLORE THE OUTDOORS

The Woodlands is an ideal location for travel when social distancing is in mind. Here, you can indulge in natural beauty with expansive views of The Woodlands Waterway and Lake Woodlands that are best enjoyed from a kayak or paddleboard. Both Riva Row Boat House and Lakes Edge Boat House offer a variety of rentals for water recreation with accommodations for solo travelers, couples and families. Swan Boats seat up to four passengers and are a fun way for travelers to explore The Woodlands Waterway while offering views of public art.

The Woodlands has over 220-miles of pathways to explore and this is a great way to see the woods and waterways. Texas TreeVentures is an outdoor aerial adventure course set amongst one of the more forested areas of The Woodlands. This unique course provides mentally and physically challenging obstacles for guests to overcome in a safe and exciting environment.

ENJOY PUBLIC ART

The Woodlands has dozens of public art pieces, including more than 50 outdoor sculptures and 24 art benches. This growing outdoor art collection is known as one of the largest public art collections per capita in the United States! We're also home to the annual Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival which is held outdoors along The Woodlands Waterway each spring and features over 150 juried artists from across the country.
