Spring is finally here, and that means event season in The Woodlands has begun! Get ready to spend time outdoors and have tons of fun, which is perfect to put a spring in the everyone’s step. This month is loaded with festivals, concerts and races. Which will you be attending?

 

The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival April 7-8, 2018 10 am - 6 pm

This annual favorite is back for its 13th year! In 2017 the festival was ranked 5th in the Nation by Art Fair SourceBook. With a ranking that high there’s no wonder why the festival has become a signature event for The Woodlands. Not only is the two-day event family friendly, providing interactive children's activities, but attendees can also view culinary demonstrations, four stages with live music, art demonstrations and much more! Muddy Trails Bash April 7, 2018 3 pm - 8 pm

Runners ready? The 11th annual Muddy Trails Bash is ready for you! This USA Track and Field sanctioned event is perfect for everyone. It features chip-timed 5K and 10K trail runs, the Little Muddy Kids’ One-Mile Fun Run and even a race for you and your dog, labeled the 2K-9 Fun Run. Each course winds through the beautiful George Mitchell Nature Preserve. The festive post-race party, fun for spectators and competitors alike, includes live zydeco music, the Muddy Bowl Crawfish Cook-Off and children’s activities, along with concessions. Prices vary for each race with the 10K being $50 per entry and the 5K being $45. The Little Muddy Kids’ Fun Run and the 2K-9 Dog Fun Run are both $35 each, pricing for all races will increase by $5 on race day. To make sure everyone has a great time, races are capped, but there’s still time to register, so lace up those sneakers and sign up now or register on race day in person.

 

The Woodlands Margarita Festival April 14, 2018 Noon - 8 pm

Get ready for a margarita wonderland featuring a wide variety of margarita flavors, live bands, great food, and vendors. Several local restaurants and bars will be competing to create the “Best Margarita in The Woodlands”. The best part? Festival attendees can join the fun and be the judges. General admission is $40 and includes drinks samples and much more. VIP access is $75 and includes drink samples, covered seating, food and more. Only a limited number of tickets are available and prices increase at the event, purchase your today! Please note: Event is for ages 21 and up only.

 

Howl at the Moon at The Westin April 20, 2018 8 pm - 10 pm

The Westin at The Woodlands is hosting Howl2Go by Howl at the Moon, a high energy, interactive dueling piano show! Experience an unforgettable night out singing and dancing to your favorite songs while enjoying food and drinks specials. Only a limited number of tickets will be available and prices increase as the event nears. Purchase tickets online here.

 

IRONMAN North American Championship April 28, 2018

Thousands of athletes have trained long and hard for a race of this caliber! But don’t worry. You don’t have to be a participant to be able to have the time of your life. The event includes a 2.4 mile swim in Lake Woodlands, 112 mile bike that begins and ends in Town Green Park, and a 26.2 mile-long run course along The Woodlands Waterway. Experience IRONMAN as a spectator and cheer on all of the hard working athletes as they swim, bike and run through The Woodlands throughout the day.
