Waterway Arts Festival
Named one of the top five art festivals in the world, The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival includes artwork from over 200 juried artists from across the country. For 15 years, the festival has been located at Town Green Park and along The Woodlands Waterway. It continues to be one of the premier and most highly anticipated events of its kind in the area. Proceeds from the festival directly fund the year-round community and education outreach programs of Because Art Matters sponsored by The Woodlands Arts Council (TWAC).
The 15th annual Waterway Arts Festival will take place October 17-18, 2020. This year's Featured Artist is Christina Smith, who's work is a combination of gouache and pencil. Gouache is an opaque watercolor similar to tempera. Christina's work as well as the complete Artist Gallery can be viewed online.
This is a highly anticipated annual event, so book your stay and buy your tickets early. To purchase tickets and to learn more about The Woodlands Arts Council visit: www.thewoodlandsartscouncil.org.
