Hear The Beatles like you’ve never heard them before when the Houston Symphony’s Classical Mystery Tour takes The Pavilion’s Main Stage on July 27, 2022. Sponsored by Huntsman, gates open at 7 p.m. for the 8 p.m. performance that will feature more than two dozen Beatles tunes performed exactly as they were originally recorded. Mezzanine and lawn seating are FREE. Reserved orchestra seats are available for $25 per ticket.

The four musicians in Classical Mystery Tour look and sound just like The Beatles, but Classical Mystery Tour is more than just a rock concert. Hear Penny Lane with a live trumpet section, experience the beauty of Yesterday with an acoustic guitar and string quartet, enjoy the classical/rock blend on I Am the Walrus and relish the crescendos on A Day in the Life. From early Beatles music on through the solo years, the Classical Mystery Tour is the best of The Beatles—but performed live in concert with a symphony orchestra!

During pre-concert activities beginning at 7 p.m., guests are encouraged to enjoy an afternoon musical treat at the Chamberfest pop-up concert in the North Plaza.  Students participating in the week-long chamber music intensive at The Pavilion will be putting on a special performance showcasing what they have learned during their daily workshops. Other pre-performance activities in the North Plaza include a special art project and sponsor activations.
