Patriotic Events

Celebrate our nation's history, its heroes and all things red, white and blue at many patriotic events throughout the year in The Woodlands. From Memorial Day to Veterans Day, we invite you to join us as we honor the United States and all those who have served our country.

Celebrate military servicemen and women with this annual event at Town Green Park. The Memorial Day Celebration kicks off with the National Anthem, and continues into the evening with live music, children's activities and a fireworks display. You can also participate in creating care packages for our troops.

Make Independence Day a party to remember with the annual Red, Hot & Blue Festival, featuring a full day of events and multiple fireworks shows in and around town. Festivities begin on July 3 with the South County Fourth of July Parade in the morning and the Stars at Night - A Salute to Service at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion that evening. The festivities continue on July 4 with the Red, Hot & Blue Festival beginning in the afternoon, complete with live music, entertainment, and fireworks at several locations across The Township including Hughes Landing, Waterway Square, and Northshore Park.

Enjoy family fun at The Woodlands' annual Labor Day celebration. Gather with friends and family at Waterway Square to enjoy children's activities, live music and a fireworks show.

Each year, The Woodlands Township and community members gather at Town Green Park to honor U.S. Veterans. The event features a presentation of colors, musical performances, Keynote Speaker and more.
