Patriotic Events
Celebrate our nation's history, its heroes, and all things red, white, and blue at the many patriotic events held in The Woodlands. From Memorial Day to Veteran's Day, we invite you to join us as we honor the United States and all those who have served our country.

Memorial Day
Honor our military servicemen and women during the Memorial Day celebration at Town Green Park. The event kicks off with the National Anthem and a tribute to servicemembers, followed by a festival with live music, children's activities, and a fireworks display set to a patriotic soundtrack. You can also participate in creating care packages for our troops overseas.

4th of July
Make Independence Day a party to remember during one of many patriotic celebrations around The Woodlands! The festivities begin on July 3 with the Star-Spangled Salute at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. On July 4, enjoy a full day of activities starting with the South County Fourth of July Parade at Market Street and continuing with the annual Red, Hot & Blue Festival & Fireworks Extravaganza at multiple locations around town.

Labor Day
Summer's not over until you celebrate Labor Day in The Woodlands! Gather with friends and family in Waterway Square for a fun-filled evening of live music, children's activities, and a spectacular fireworks show. There are even pie-eating contests for children and adults!
Veterans Day
Each year on November 11, community members gather at The Woodlands Central Fire Station (9951 Grogan's Mill Road) for a Veteran's Day Tribute. The ceremony features a presentation of colors, musical performances, and remarks from community leaders. There will also be a drop-off site for care packages to support deployed service members.
