EXPLORE THE ART AT WATERWAY SQUARE
Waterway Square is home to more than 100 pieces of public art, including Why Sit When You Can Play, one of dozens of art benches found throughout The Woodlands. Kids can also enjoy a treasure hunt at Grandma's Purse, an expansive sculpture made of terrazzo and bronze cast in glass. It features a purse and its contents—scissors, crayons, a camera, toy cars, and more—scattered around the splash pad for kids to find. Under the Waterway Avenue bridge between Grandma’s Purse and the Goose’s Acre Pub is a large mosaic installation. The nine-panel display, At Water's Edge, features colorful nature collages inside the tunnel.
