A new healthy shake shop is now open in The Woodlands. Fresh Monkee, located at 25118 Grogans Mill Road, near Sawdust Road and I-45, opened its doors on December 1, 2025.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF SHAKE

Fresh Monkee specializes in hand-crafted shakes made with high-fiber, protein-rich, low-sugar, all-natural ingredients. With more than 30 shake recipes to choose from, customers can find options that fit every taste and lifestyle. Instead of flashy “diet promises,” Fresh Monkee focuses on what works. Each shake is designed with balance in mind—prioritizing protein, easy digestibility, and clean ingredients—and is the perfect pick-me-up whether it's a quick snack between meals or a full meal replacement.

In addition to shakes, the shop offers Monkee Ballz, a protein-packed snack made from natural peanut butter (sugar-free), oat flour, chocolate whey protein, maple syrup, and vanilla extract, rolled in semi-sweet chocolate chips and coconut oil.

Two shakes sit on a coffee table in front of a brown leather couch. One shake is pink, the other green. The "fresh monkee" font is all lowercase letters, all bright green, with a logo of a monkey.

LOCAL OWNERS, LOCAL ROOTS

The new Fresh Monkee location is owned by Mitch and Crispin Provost, who have called The Woodlands home for 30 years. Mitch is a retired engineer and project manager; Crispin has worked as a registered nurse and now works with Conroe ISD. Together, they raised three sons while staying active in youth sports and school programs.

“We’ve made a lifetime of friends and watched The Woodlands grow into the amazing community it is today,” the couple said. “We’re excited to bring a healthy alternative to fast food and sugary snacks—something we believe will be a great fit for families and active lifestyles in the area.”
