Get your paws ready for the most adorable event in town. Kirby Ice House in The Woodlands is thrilled to host its Annual Corgi Racing on Saturday, November 7 at 12:00 p.m. They don't run in miles per hour—they run in wiggles per minute. Spectators can watch for free while dog owners can register their Corgis to race for a $20 entry fee. Please note that Kirby Ice House is a strictly 21-and-up venue.

CORGIS FOR A CAUSE

All proceeds from the race entries directly benefit BARC Houston, the City of Houston's animal shelter and adoption facility. By managing animal control, public safety, and rabies control, BARC protects the community while actively working to reduce pet overpopulation through spay/neuter services, pet adoptions, and partnerships with local rescue groups.

This year’s event is proudly sponsored by Texas’ own Tito’s Handmade Vodka and Pacifico, bringing the community together for a fun afternoon in support of local shelter animals.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

Guests can expect plenty of short legs, big personalities, and photo-worthy finishes as pint-sized racers dash for bragging rights at Kirby Ice House’s spacious location in The Woodlands. Whether your favorite competitor is built for speed, snacks, or simply stealing the spotlight, the afternoon promises a tail-wagging good time for corgi fans and dog lovers alike. While other racers have long strides, corgis rely entirely on those aerodynamic ears for added speed. Come out to cheer on the fastest Corgis in town, enjoy refreshing drinks, and support a great cause.
