Market Street announced today that a Little Free Library is now on-property near the splash pad, and children and adults are welcome to visit and check out a book free of charge.
Little Free Library often collaborates with community partners, schools, public libraries, civic organizations, businesses, and other groups to bring the concept to their communities. The new Market Street location is no exception, having been spearheaded by local Boy Scout Jacob Lyon.
“We are privileged to be able to support the community we serve,” said Market Street Marketing Director Noemi Gonzalez. “With the addition of a Little Free Library at Market Street, adults and children alike can discover the joys of reading.”
The mission of Little Free Library is to be a catalyst for building community, inspiring readers, and expanding book access for all through a global network of volunteer-led Little Free Libraries.
