The Woodlands Township Chairman of the Board, Gordy Bunch, said: “It’s quite an honor for The Woodlands to be selected to host The Chevron Championship. This event will give our residents and businesses a great opportunity to see the best golfers in the world right here at home.”

Businesses, hotels, economic development organizations, Visit The Woodlands, and The Woodlands Township have already begun preparing to welcome the LPGA and The Chevron Championship athletes in 2023. Steve Salzman, COO of The Club at Carlton Woods, says he is confident that this inaugural majors golf tournament in The Woodlands will exceed expectations of first-year events.
