HAWAIIAN HOSPITALITY

The evening will kick-off at Forest Deck in true Hawaiian fashion, with live island melodies upon arrival, followed by vibrant Polynesian performances featuring hula maidens, male warriors, a live Hawaiian band, and drummers. Bringing the energy of a traditional luau to life, the performances offer guests an authentic taste of Polynesian culture through music, dance, and storytelling.

Prior to the main show, guests will be invited to join in on the fun with interactive hula, hula hoop, and limbo lessons from the experts themselves, plus a build-your-own lei station for the perfect personalized take-home item to commemorate the Island Escape experience. Other fun activities include a glitter tattoo and selfie station, snow cones, and photo opportunities with the hula dancers.

“Island Escape is about creating an experience that feels transportive from the moment guests arrive,” said Hank Reilly, The Woodlands Resort General Manager. “From live island music and Polynesian performances to the flavors and traditions woven throughout the evening, we wanted to create something immersive, welcoming, and completely unexpected right here at the resort.”

CULINARY EXCURSION

Alongside its performances, Island Escape will also include an immersive culinary experience featuring tropical cocktails and a Hawaiian-inspired buffet at Harrison’s. The buffet will be available for purchase onsite at $75 per adult and $45 per child. Guests looking to elevate their experience can pre-reserve a VIP Island Table via Eventbrite, featuring premium viewing of the entertainment, dedicated waiter service, the Hawaiian buffet for up to four guests, and champagne for the table.
