Ryan Greenwood has joined the Visit The Woodlands team as the new Senior Sales Specialist. This is a new position for Visit The Woodlands, adding extra support to the Sales Team's efforts in selling The Woodlands as a premier meetings destination.
"We are very excited to welcome Ryan to our team," said Nick Wolda, President of Visit The Woodlands. "In this new role, he is sure to build on his previous experience in the tourism industry and help us further establish The Woodlands as a highly-esteemed destination for meetings and events."
In this role, Ryan will focus on the corporate market and sports market. As a Senior Sales Specialist, he will assist with group lead development, sales efforts, FAM events, site tour coordination, and attend tradeshows to promote The Woodlands to meeting professionals.
Prior to joining Visit The Woodlands, Ryan spent time at Visit College Station overseeing the association market. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University and holds a bachelor's degree in Sport Management with a concentration in Business Administration. He also holds a master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Stephen F. Austin State University.

In 2024, Visit The Woodlands' team will also expand with a new Marketing Project Coordinator and a new Tourism Specialist, bringing the current team of 10 to a team of 12. With talented new team members and exciting new initiatives, 2024 is bound to be a record year for Visit The Woodlands.
