Visit The Woodlands recently received a Davey Award for the "Fashion Forward Advertising Campaign", launched in 2022. This campaign features photography and videography that showcases the natural beauty and luxury visitors can experience in The Woodlands, alongside headlines such as, "You have arrived," "Vacation effortlessly," "Elevate your expectations," and "Elevate your next meeting".
Visit The Woodlands used an omni-channel approach for the campaign, including print and digital advertisements, paid search and social, digital out of home and remarketing, Amazon CTV and remarketing, prospecting and remarketing banners, and TV advertisements that aired during nationally and internationally broadcasted events happening in The Woodlands. The campaign increased awareness of The Woodlands and led to increased leisure and business travel to The Woodlands. Comparing Q1 2022 to Q1 2023, Hotel Tax Revenue has grown 24% (from $1.5 Million to $1.9 Million). It is projected that Hotel Tax Revenue will surpass 2019 levels in 2023.
Visit The Woodlands' "Fashion Forward" Campaign has won several other awards this year, including a Viddy Award, a Hermes Award, and a MarCom Award.
The annual international Davey Awards honor the achievements of smaller organizations who derive their strength from big ideas that make an impact. It's sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, including members from Condé Nast, Disney, Microsoft, Yahoo! and many more. It is the largest and most prestigious awards competition for organizations that utilize smaller budgets to develop creative (and highly effective) products.
