This February, tourism professionals and Texas legislators will come together in The Woodlands for the 34th Texas Travel Industry Unity Dinner. This annual event, organized by the Texas Travel Alliance, brings together legislative officials and tourism organizations from around the state to celebrate and reinforce the strength as a unified industry.
TOURISM WORKS FOR TEXAS
This year's theme for Unity Dinner is "Tourism Works for Texas," highlighting how tourism is a major economic driver in Texas. The dinner will feature a keynote speaker and a Silent Auction Fundraiser, which supports Texas Travel Alliance's programming and education initiatives.
"We're very excited to host these two phenomenal events," said Elizabeth Eddins, Executive Director of Visit The Woodlands and CVB/DMO Representative on Texas Travel Alliance Board of Directors. "Texas Travel Industry Unity Dinner has only traveled outside of Austin a few times since it first began, so it's a huge honor to host it here in The Woodlands. There's also no better way to kick off the year than coming together with our industry to celebrate the power of tourism in Texas."
UNITY DINNER & ADVOCACY EMPOWERED
The Woodlands Waterway Marriott will host Unity Dinner on Monday, February 12, 2024. Tourism professionals are also invited to attend Texas Travel Alliance's Advocacy Empowered Conference, also held at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott, on Sunday, February 11 and Monday, February 12 prior to Unity Dinner. The conference will include information-packed sessions about tourism advocacy in Texas, such as "Navigating the Legislative Process: How to Track Bills and Make Your Voice Heard."
As a presenting sponsor for Texas Travel Industry Unity Dinner and the Advocacy Empowered Conference, Visit The Woodlands is looking forward to welcoming Texas legislators and industry peers to The Woodlands this February.
