BAJA CANTINA AND FIESTA
If you’re looking for a relaxed vibe, Baja Cantina is a perfect choice! The atmosphere, along with their menu, which features a blend of Mexican, Latin, and California cultures, is the perfect family brunch spot. This is especially true for those with smaller children that may not be ready for a full sit-down restaurant experience. They even have a special Baja Kids Brunch which offers a mickey mouse pancake! Their weekend brunch offers a bit of everything for adults; one of my favorites is the tres leches pancakes. Other items include volcano chilaquiles, chorizo benedict, and a variety of breakfast tacos, burritos, and tortas. And yes, they offer bottomless mimosas!
CRU - A WINE BAR
Savor and sip at CRU, where you can enjoy a mimosa or bellini by the glass or carafe! Their Sunday Brunch menu features a selection of savory options with dessert. Favorites include mini Belgian waffles, goat cheese beignets, crab cake benedict, or the fig & gorgonzola bruschetta. CRU also offers Lavazza french press coffee, which goes perfectly with their crème brulee, tiramisu, or lava cake. Located in Market Street, you can easily enjoy a meal and get in a little shopping-cardio afterward.
AVANTI ITALIAN KITCHEN & WINE BAR
Avanti is the ideal setting to enjoy a Sunday Brunch! From sweet to savory, this Italian restaurant features it all on their brunch menu. Local favorites include the lemon ricotta pancakes, croque-madame, crispy fried chicken & waffles, and zeppole (Italian mini doughnuts filled with Nutella). This casual-elegant dining experience also offers live music during Sunday Brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., adding to the already inviting ambiance. Avanti is the sister restaurant of Via Emilia, another Italian dining concept in The Woodlands.
THE KITCHEN
When it comes to brunching, The Kitchen does it right! From a selection of benedicts to their famous cinnamon roll pancake, bananas foster french toast or breakfast migas, they have a solid brunch menu! If you prefer drinks with your brunch, try the mimosa flight, which includes three house-made mimosa flavors made with sparkling wine.
Insider Tip: The Kitchen also offers a weekday breakfast menu, which is a slightly reduced version of their weekend brunch. You can dine at The Kitchen six days a week and enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Plan ahead, The Kitchen is closed on Mondays, I suggest trying Black Walnut Cafe for a similar vibe and menu.
FIELDING’S LOCAL KITCHEN + BAR
Brunch at Fielding’s Local is offered on Saturday and Sunday each week. Offerings include the dutch baby pancake, chicken chilaquiles, brioche french toast, chicken & waffles, and much more. Try their famous mimosa or bloody mary flights to kick your dining experience up a notch! They also offer a selection of signature cocktails from award-winning mixologists. Bonus: They often offer live music during Sunday Brunch.
THE GOOSES ACRE BISTRO & IRISH PUB
Goose’s Acre is an authentic Irish pub that offers a double-decker patio, providing plenty of space for outdoor dining with a view of The Woodlands Waterway. Menu favorites include Jameson french toast, corned beef benedict, and shrimp & grits.
Insider Tip: On Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and all day Sunday, children ages 12 and under can eat free from the Kids Menu. Goose’s Acre also offers live music on the upstairs patio on Sundays from Noon to 3 p.m.
