The Embassy Suites is located in Hughes Landing and has a great view of Lake Woodlands! You can plan your lunch and dinner at the nearby Restaurant Row, which is just a minutes’ walk from the hotel. All of the restaurants offer patio dining so you can continue to soak up that lake view and enjoy the fresh air.

If you want to explore the area a bit more you can ride the free Woodlands Waterway Trolley – which picks you up just a few steps outside the hotel's main entrance. The trolley stops at various visitor-friendly areas in The Woodlands such as The Woodlands Mall and Market Street for shopping and dining, and The Waterway for dining and nightlife. The vintage look of the trolley is a favorite for guests of all ages, especially children who are fond of trains! 

 

The boat house is a long brick building with four open garage-like doors and a registration office on the far end. Inside are shelves stacked with kayaks in various colors. Outside the doors are standees with dozens of double-ended paddles. The building sits on a dock, where two kayaks rest on the water.

OUTDOOR FUN

Looking for recreation on the water? Hughes Landing features Lakes Edge Boat House, which is about a three- to five-minute walk from the hotel. They offer single and tandem kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, all rented by the hour. Just a trolley ride away is the Riva Row Boat House, which offers the items above as well as swan boats that seat up to four people. Whatever you choose, each option is a fun family bonding experience on The Woodlands Waterway.
