Muddy Trails Bash is a 5K chip-timed run through the 1,800-acre George Mitchell Nature Preserve, which ends with a festival post-race celebration featuring live zydeco music and the Muddy Bowl Crawfish Cook-Off.
The 5K race is open to runners of all abilities and recommended for ages 10 and up. Please Note Muddy Trails 5K is not a mud run or adventure race.
Each Race Packet includes a finisher medal and participant packet. Please Note: A participant shirt will not be offered for this race. There will be no race day registration.
Muddy Bowl Crawfish Cook-Off
Show off your crawfish boiling skills at the annual Muddy Bowl Crawfish Cook-Off. Teams of up to eight members are provided crawfish, ice, serving containers, a 10' x 10' tent, table, chairs, parking passes, and a Harris County Temporary Health Permit.
