New and experienced birders are invited to take part in The Great Texas Birding Classic: the biggest birding tournament in Texas!
The Woodlands Township will compete in the 'Big Sit' category and see how many birds their team, sponsored by Visit The Woodlands, can see and hear between 6:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 29. The team will meet at the Creekside West Trailhead of the George Mitchell Nature Preserve (at the end of Dr. Ann Snyder Drive), and anyone with an interest in birding is invited to participate. The event is free and open to the public.
