Shoal

Shoal is an enchanting, experiential art piece in Hughes Landing, located in front of the Hughes Landing Band Shell. The piece features 750 individual orbs of light that 'dance' to ambient music, changing color in time with the tune. It's meant to represent shoals - large groups of fish that swim together in captivating patterns. Like the groups of fish, "Shoal" is always shifting and changing, creating a beautiful light show above a walkway in Hughes Landing. It was created by Squidsoup (an international collaborative group known for making award-winning digital media experiences) and commissioned by the Howard Hughes Corporation.
