For the first time in Conference history, the Big 12 Women’s Golf Championship will be contested at The Club of Carlton Woods in The Woodlands, Texas. Competition is scheduled for Sunday through Tuesday, April 18-20, at the 6,345-yard, par-72 Tom Fazio Championship Course.

In 2005, the 18-hole Fazio course debuted in the Carlton Woods Creekside community resting atop 7,358 yards of rolling hillsides on the bluffs of Spring Creek. Following completion, Golf Digest named it the "Best New Private Course in Texas," and "#3 Best New Private Course in the U.S."

Play will begin at 8 a.m. CT each day.  The Championship format will consist of 18-holes daily with pairings in threesomes and each group starting on hole No. 1.

Six Big 12 teams are ranked in the top 38 by Golfweek/Sagarin and all nine are listed among the top 74 of the 255 NCAA Division I women’s golf programs. No. 7 Baylor, No. 8 Oklahoma State and No. 16 Texas will lead off the Championship at 8 a.m. on Sunday. The next grouping of No. 29 Texas Tech, No. 30 Oklahoma and No. 38 Iowa State will tee off an hour later, with the final pairings of the day featuring golfers from No. 45 TCU, No. 61 Kansas State and No. 74 Kansas going out at 10:00 a.m.

Second and third day pairings will be determined by the previous day’s results with golfers from the three teams at the top of the team standings going out last. An awards ceremony will be conducted following the conclusion of the final round on Tuesday.

Live scoring, pairings and results will be available online here.
