An elegant evening will bloom Friday, April 14th with the Art Dash Party, presented by The Woodlands Compounding Pharmacy. As the high-energy kick-off of Fidelity Investments The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival set for April 14-16, the popular Art Dash Party will glimmer with a room of festival artists and art lovers at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
Nancy Charbonneau, board member of The Woodlands Arts Council, enjoys her coveted selection at a previous Art Dash Party.
The highlight of the evening is the thrilling 60-Second Art Dash, in which ticket holders have the opportunity to quickly dash to select a coveted original art piece donated by the festival’s fine artists. Presenting the perfect ambiance for festive mingling and power networking, the party also features scrumptious light bites, adult beverages, and live music.
Two ceramic vessels in the pattern “Turtle Pond” created by this year’s featured artist Cathra-Anne Barker will be live auctioned along with other exciting items. Additionally, local florists will compete in Art is Blooming to arrange incredible works of flora & fauna inspired by Barker’s use of nature in her ceramics.

Funds raised at the Art Dash Party from the live auction and ticket sales will generously benefit The Woodlands Arts Council’s Student Art Scholarship Program. The Woodlands Arts Council produces the festival each year. This year’s event will be co-chaired by Paul Pettie and his husband, Ian Ramirez.
Paul Pettie, board member of The Woodlands Arts Council, said, “Art has the power to shape young minds and inspire future generations. As someone whose life was forever changed by the beauty and creativity of art, I believe it is our responsibility to ensure that it remains accessible to all. Art is not a luxury, but a necessity for the growth of the human soul.”
Party tickets are $150 each, and the 60-Second Art Dash tickets are $250 each. Table sponsorships are available for $5,500 and provide many exciting perks. For more information, click here.
