The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center has been named “Hotel of the Year” by Marriott International for Classic and Premium Brands for 2022.
Ranked top among 500 other hotels, the premium hotel garnered high-performance scores in the areas of Overall Guest Satisfaction, Elite Appreciation, Employee Satisfaction, Market Share and Event Satisfaction. Additional results the hotel achieved included high scores in Leadership, General Management, Staff Service, Cleanliness, Maintenance & Upkeep, Overall Guest Satisfaction, and Food & Beverage.

The nomination included comments about the hotel’s focus on strong talent, thoughtful leadership, execution of the basics, and attention to detail. Also noted was General Manager Fred Domenick’s leadership style of being personal, passionate, result oriented, and consistently giving credit to his amazing team.
This is the second time in nine years that The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center has won “Hotel of the Year” by Marriott International, following the award in 2013.
