The Woodlands Fine Craft, Art & Design Show brought a renewed energy to The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center on September 26 & 27, as more than 60 juried artists and designers from across the country gathered for an indoor weekend of art, shopping, discovery, and connection.

The weekend began Saturday morning with the First Look Experience, as groups of friends arrived early to enjoy mimosas and breakfast treats, mingle, and shop. That energy continued throughout the day as guests explored the exhibit hall and discovered original work.
Returning artists reconnected with local patrons, while first-time artists introduced their work to new audiences. Conversations unfolded naturally at the booths as artists shared the stories, inspiration, and processes behind their work. Live music added to the atmosphere, while “Meet the Makers” artist booth talks offered a closer look at the creative process and the stories behind the art.
“This year represented an important evolution for the show,” said Haley Garcia, President of The Woodlands Arts Council. “We expanded the experience to welcome a broader range of artists and designers while keeping what matters most at the center: exceptional original work and meaningful connections between artists and our community. Seeing that vision come to life throughout the weekend was incredibly rewarding.”
The weekend reflected the show’s mission: to create an intimate art experience where guests can slow down, spend time with the work and the artists behind it, and build meaningful connections.
