Get ready for an action-packed day at The Woodlands Children's Museum from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2025! Guests are invited to come dressed as their favorite superhero and enjoy a variety of exciting activities. Create your own art project and pose for photos with superheroes and characters from the CARS movie.

A little boy (maybe 2-3 years old) looks at the camera while pointing to a life-sized model of Lightning McQueen from Disney Pixar's "Cars." Overlaying the lower third of the image is a bright yellow band with a white "spark" (like those that appear in comics or cartoons when a superhero punches a villain) and bold red text that reads, "SUPERHERO DAY WITH CARS | Saturday, July 26th 10am-4pm."

"'A true hero isn't measured by the size of his strength, but by the strength of his heart,'" a timeless sentiment from Disney's HERCULES, resonates deeply with the spirit of the upcoming event. Angela Colton, the museum's Executive Director, echoed this idea, stating, "There's a superhero inside all of us. On this special day, we aim to inspire children to discover their inner superhero and contribute to a better community through consistent acts of kindness."

Children can visit the MUSE art bar to create a superhero mask and then pose for pictures with Superhero photo ops at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. Outside from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., take photos with replicas of the CARS characters Tow Mater, Lightning McQueen, Doc Hudson, and Tippy the Tractor. After that, cool off with Tikiz Shaved Ice & Ice Cream, which will be available for purchase in the CARS area.

Superhero Day with CARS is $10 for everyone one year of age and older. Tickets are now available on The Woodlands Children's Museum website.

The Woodlands Children’s Museum is open for extended summer hours, including Tuesday-Friday 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m.  The museum is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
