The Viddy Awards, formerly the Videographer Awards, is an international awards competition that recognizes outstanding achievement in video and production skills. Winners receive a Platinum Award for exceptionally well put-together video content, or a Gold Award for projects that exceed industry standards. In the 2022 Viddy Awards competition, Visit The Woodlands won a Gold Award for their Ambassador Program.

Visit The Woodlands developed the Ambassador Program as a way to increase the social presence for The Woodlands and drive travel to the destination. The 2022 Ambassador for Visit The Woodlands is Houston-based influencer, Sincerely Karin (@sincerelykarin).

With quarterly scheduled visits to the destination, Karin is able to capture relevant content covering restaurants, hotels, shops, attractions, and events. After each visit, she creates high-quality Instagram Stories and Reels about The Woodlands that she shares with her nearly 150K followers, tagging Visit The Woodlands as a collaborator. Each month, Karin shares a new aspect of The Woodlands with her followers, allowing The Woodlands to remain top of mind to social audiences.

To maximize each FAM trip, Visit The Woodlands works closely with local hospitality partners to develop well-rounded itineraries that highlight unique aspects of The Woodlands. A high-level outline and itinerary gives Karin guidance on what content she needs to capture during her visit to The Woodlands, while also giving her freedom to add an authentic, creative flair to the Instagram Stories and Reels she creates. Her last four posts about The Woodlands have generated over 310K views.
