Entries are now closed for the 132-player field for The Chevron Championship, the first major championship of the 2024 LPGA Tour season. From April 17-21, the world’s best golfers will vie for the chance to lift the Dinah Shore Trophy, take a leap into the lake at The Club at Carlton Woods and assume a place among the all-time greats of the game.

Defending champion of The Chevron Championship and 2023 Rolex Player of the Year Lilia Vu headlines the field, along with current Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings No. 1 Nelly Korda, who has won her last four consecutive starts on the LPGA Tour. Lydia Ko, who has 20 tournament titles and two majors under her belt, could secure her place in the LPGA Hall of Fame with a win at The Chevron Championship.   • 34 major champions, including past Chevron winners Jin Young Ko (2019), Lydia Ko (2016), Jennifer Kupcho (2022), Stacy Lewis (2011), Brittany Lincicome (2009, 2015), Pernilla Lindberg (2018), So Yeon Ryu (2017), Patty Tavatanakit (2021), Lexi Thompson (2014), Yani Tseng (2010) and Lilia Vu (2023)
  • 36 members of the U.S. and European Solheim Cup Teams
  • 40 Olympians, including 2020 Tokyo medalists Nelly Korda (gold), Mone Inami (silver) and Lydia Ko (bronze)
  • 71 LPGA Tour winners, representing a total of 287 career victories
  • Athletes representing 26 countries and regions, ranging in age from 19 to 46

While The Chevron Championship gets underway in 10 days, it is not the only tournament on the schedule at The Club at Carlton Woods. Beginning this Thursday, junior girls ages 11-18 will compete in the Mack Champ Invitational for Girls presented by Chevron. Hosted by PGA Tour pro Cameron Champ and the Cameron Champ Foundation and named after Cameron’s grandfather, Mack Champ, the tournament gives some of the game’s best junior golfers of diverse backgrounds a premier competitive experience and provide a springboard into top-tier junior tournaments and college scholarships.

On Tuesday, April 16, promising young female golfers will get to tee it up next to current pros and LPGA legends at the Junior Legacy Pro-Am. Hosted by LPGA legend Amy Alcott, this special event provides junior female golfers the unique experience to play alongside some of the greatest players and mentors in LPGA history. The Junior Legacy program furthers Chevron’s commitment to creating access and opportunities for juniors by providing the platform to play a LPGA major championship course, develop relationships with and learn from LPGA legends, and network with leaders in business and the golf industry.
