From shopping and then playing at Central Park to enjoying a relaxing Sunday afternoon dinner, you can get it all in one stop at Market Street in The Woodlands. Located across the street from The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, Market Street is in between Lake Woodlands Drive and Six Pines Drive - right in the middle of all of the action that The Woodlands has to offer. And, we have a few insider tips to help you get the most out of your next visit.
CENTRAL PARK
The shops and restaurants at Market Street are arranged so that a greenspace known as Central Park sits in the middle of the beloved shopping and lifestyle center. There are often various outdoor lawn games and outdoor toys for children and families to enjoy together.
EASY PARKING
There is a large complimentary parking garage on the property where guests can easily park and quickly get to shopping. Valet Parking is also an option 7 days a week, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday through Saturday for only $8. Market Street also has 68 premium parking spots in front of stores, where guests are encouraged to make a charitable donation to the parking meter in exchange for a prime parking spot. A percentage of the parking meter fees goes back to local charities. Market Street leaders choose four different charities to support each year.
COOL EVENTS
There is always something fun going on at Market Street. The Woodlands Car Club gathers on the first Sunday of the month from 7 to 11 a.m. and brings out cool cars to put on display for The Woodlands Cars and Coffee for a Cause. Market Street also holds a spring and fall concert series on Thursday evenings as well as hosting art and holiday events throughout the year and is the central location for the South County Fourth of July Parade.
TREAT YOURSELF
Market Street is not just for shopping and dining, it's also a great place to pamper yourself with a spa treatment or wellness experience at The Woodhouse Day Spa, The Boardroom Salon for Men, or Thrive Drip Spa to name a few.
FREE TROLLEY
Need to make a stop by The Woodlands Mall, Waterway Square, or Hughes Landing? There is a complimentary trolley service that will bring you! The trolley makes the rounds several times each hour and makes it easy for you to hop over to other popular spots in The Woodlands.
LUXURY SHOPPING
From Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Company to Michael Kors, Market Street provides high-end shopping for you to enjoy. There are also plenty of budget-friendly shops to choose from such as Kendra Scott, Francesca's Collection, and Bath & Body Works. You can check out a complete shop directory here.
PLENTY OF DINING OPTIONS
There are 15+ restaurants on the Market Street property. You can choose something casual like Sweet Paris or make it indulge at Mastro's Ocean Club. Many restaurants organize and host specials for Brunch, Happy Hours, and more. Dine at some of the local favorites like Schilleci's New Orleans Kitchen, El Tiempo Cantina, or Uni Sushi.
GET YOUR STEPS IN
For many people, heading to the mall and walking around is the way they get their exercise in. You can enjoy “mall walking” at Market Street too! We did a rough estimate and it’s about .30 miles if you walk the inside perimeter of the property. Do this three times and you’ve almost walked a mile!
COMPLIMENTARY UMBRELLAS
This may seem like a small thing but trust us, it’s not. Have you ever been stuck somewhere in the pouring rain? Market Street makes sure it doesn't happen when you visit. They have umbrella baskets strategically placed around the property for you to borrow. Just grab, go and return when you are done!
RELAX & RECHARGE
Head over to the many seating areas located in Market Street's Central Park and take some time to sit back and relax while you recharge your phone at their free charging stations. Stations are BYOC (bring your own cord) but if you find yourself without one, stop by our Visitor Information Center in the North Commons for a complimentary charging cable!
