To celebrate National Reading Month Visit The Woodlands has donated copies of Goodnight to The Woodlands to a number of Woodlands hotel properties.

Visit The Woodlands promotes and focuses on The Woodlands being recognized as a destination for family travel and being a kid-friendly vacation option. By offering this unique take on Goodnight Moon, a popular children’s bedtime story, Visit The Woodlands hopes to encourage family travelers for generations to come.

“As the marketing arm that promotes leisure and business travel to The Woodlands, we are always looking for unique ways to tell the story of our destination. We were very excited to discover ‘Goodnight to The Woodlands’, which includes local landmarks, like The Woodlands Waterway,” says Marketing Director, Ashley White.

“Traveling to a new place can sometimes be frightening for a young child. They miss their home, books and their favorite things. When parents read this book to their children while here, our hope is that our destination will seem less scary and they will spend more time enjoying it,” said Communications Coordinator, Amber George.

Copies of Goodnight to The Woodlands  can currently be “checked out” by hotels guests at: Best Western Plus, Candlewood Suites, Courtyard by Marriott, Drury Inn & Suites, Embassy Suites by Hilton The Woodlands at Hughes Landing, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott, Hilton Garden Inn, Hyatt Centric, Hyatt Place, Marriott Residence Inn (Lake Front) Marriott Residence Inn (Market Street), The Westin at The Woodlands and The Woodlands Resort.
