The Woodlands may not be known as “space city” but our sister-city to the south (aka Houston) is. July 20 marks the 50th anniversary of NASA’s Apollo 11 mission, more widely known as the Moon Landing mission. To celebrate, Visit The Woodlands is hosting a space-themed outdoor movie night!

Moon Landing Celebration
Saturday, July 20 | Waterway Square
8 to 10:15 p.m

Our free movie night includes Capture the Flag (rated PG) and a special message from the International Space Station! Visit The Woodlands staff members will be present to answer questions and provide information to you. Bonus: We will also hand out giveaways throughout the movie. Come and pay us a visit at our tent.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for the movie night. Sit back and relax and enjoy a picnic from home or grab a meal to-go from one of the many area restaurants! Please remember, glass containers are prohibited.

Are you planning to attend? Don’t forget to let us know via our Facebook event! Attendees who “check-in” to the event will receive a special gift from Visit The Woodlands (while supplies last). To claim, show us your check-in post.

As always, don’t forget to share your photos with us by using #SoWoodlands. See you at the movie!
