Visit The Woodlands, the official Destination Marketing and Management Organization of The Woodlands Township, has filled the eighth and final position on its Board of Directors.
At Visit The Woodlands' monthly Board Meeting on April 16, 2025, the Board elected Noemi Gonzalez to fill its vacant Director position. This decision follows Noemi's recent promotion to General Manager of Market Street as well as the departure of Jenny Taylor, who stepped down from both positions on February 28 to continue her luxury retail career in Florida.
"I am thrilled to join the Visit The Woodlands Board of Directors and contribute my experience in luxury retail to our shared vision," said Visit The Woodlands Director Noemi Gonzalez. "I look forward to offering fresh perspectives and working collaboratively to enhance the unique appeal of our community."
The additional seven Board Members include Chairman Linda Nelson, Vice Chairman Richard Franks, Secretary/Treasurer Cameron Klepac, Director Brad Bailey, Director Jennifer Gohagan, Director Monique Sharp, and Director Kim Lowe.

Noemi Gonzalez serves as the General Manager of Market Street – The Woodlands, a premier mixed-use lifestyle destination located in The Woodlands, Texas. With over a decade of experience at Market Street, including nearly 10 years as marketing director, Noemi brings deep expertise in property operations, community engagement, and placemaking to her leadership role.
Throughout her tenure, Noemi has played a pivotal role in shaping Market Street into one of the nation’s top-performing outdoor retail centers. As General Manager, Noemi oversees day-to-day operations, tenant relations, leasing support, budgeting, and property maintenance across the 560,000-square-foot development. Her mission is rooted in creating a joyful, people-first environment that continues to serve as a vibrant hub for residents and visitors alike.
A longtime resident of The Woodlands, Noemi is deeply invested in her community. She is a sustainer with the Junior League of The Woodlands, serves on the board of The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, and volunteers with Interfaith of The Woodlands. Her leadership and vision continue to guide Market Street into its next chapter of innovation and excellence.
