TRIS
Locally-owned and award-winning, TRIS offers its spin on a wedge salad, complete with applewood-smoked bacon, blue cheese, marinated tomatoes, candied pecans, and plenty of blue cheese dressing. This wedge is packed with many flavors and a variety of textures with each bite, it's definitely a must-try while you are here in The Woodlands!
Insider Tip: No matter what you eat for your main course, be sure to save room for dessert! The bread or banana puddings, chocolates, and decadent cakes are all worthwhile and some of the best desserts you will have here in The Woodlands.
THE REPUBLIC GRILLE
For another locally-owned dining experience, try a wedge salad at The Republic Grille. Luckily for you, they have two locations in The Woodlands, The Republic Grille at Panther Creek or The Republic Grille West Woodlands; both offer the same delicious menu and, of course, the perfect wedge. Republic Grille's Wedge includes red onions, pecan-smoked bacon, diced tomatoes, blue cheese, and house-made blue cheese dressing on the side. For added protein, guests can add on chicken or shrimp at an additional cost.
PERRY'S STEAKHOUSE & GRILLE
When it comes to fine dining and perfecting a great meal, Perry's Steakhouse & Grille has done it! Their wedge offers a delicious flavor and a variety of textures with each bite. Each salad is chilled to perfection with just the right balance of their buttermilk vinaigrette dressing, bacon bits, green onions, teardrop tomatoes, red onion, and blue cheese. The wedge salad is perfect when ordered by itself! For an extra treat, dine at Perry's on Sundays for their 3-Course Sunday Supper Special. This meal includes a choice of soup or salad (the wedge is highly recommended), Perry's Famous Pork Chop, and a dessert trio!
TERRA VINO ITALIAN KITCHEN & WINE BAR
Another locally-owned favorite with a must-try wedge salad is Terra Vino Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar. Their Gorgonzola Wedge offers a unique presentation with crips romaine hearts topped with heirloom tomatoes and crispy pancetta all covered with house-made creamy gorgonzola dressing and topped with crumbled gorgonzola. Add on an order of Tuscan shrimp or grilled chicken to complete this explosion of flavor.
Insider Tip: Terra Vino is a part of the locally-owned Orioli Restaurant Group which currently has a total of four restaurants in The Woodlands including Terra Vino, Via Emilia, Azzurro Italian Coastal Cuisine, and Avanti Italian.
LOCAL TABLE
The Grilled Salmon with Iceberg Wedge and Orzo Pasta Salad is a complete meal offered during lunch and dinner at Local Table. With feta jalapeño ranch dressing, the salad is filled with flavor in each bite. If you are dining with a friend or group, you'll definitely want to add on the Cast-Iron Baked Goat Cheese as an appetizer, it is the perfect savory warmup to enjoy before your salad arrives.
DEL FRISCO'S GRILLE
The wedge salad at Del Frisco's Grille includes hickory-smoked bacon crumbles, tomatoes, and blue cheese dressing. This wedge is the perfect size to order alongside the Sweet Corn Bisque.
Insider Tip: The spacious patio at Del Frisco's is located on Restaurant Row in Hughes Landing and offers a waterfront view of Lake Woodlands.
LANDRY'S SEAFOOD HOUSE
The menu at Landry's Seafood House offers a variety of seafood options and of course a wedge salad. Their wedge includes red onion, bacon, diced tomatoes, and blue cheese dressing. You can purchase this salad by itself or it can be added to any entrée for a nominal fee.
Insider Tip: Landry's is just a few steps away from a trolley stop, a free transportation service complimentary to all visitors. Be sure to check out the trolley route to see if you are nearby a stop during your stay and hop off at the Lake Robbins stop to be just a few steps away from Landry's.
